Late Payment Policy (as of July 2, 2007)

There have been some questions regarding my policy on late payments. I’m going to do my best to clear those up, and please do drop me an email if you have any questions!

One of the issues that I’m having is that because I tend to work with people I like, I often consider my clients my friends — and I have to balance that with the needs of my business. I want all of you fabulous people to be really clear on all of my policies, and I definitely don’t want there to be any surprises!

If you are on a payment plan or monthly recurring billing, then payments are due on the dates specified in the plan, or in our specific arrangements. Otherwise, my invoices are always due within 10 business days of receipt. If payment is not received by the date specified a 10% late charge will be applied. I hope that I’ll never have to assess this charge but it will be applied across the board to all clients, no matter how much I love you. ;} I want to make sure everyone is aware of it.
